I tried to get tickets to Lord of the Rings today. It seems the cinema
across the street isn't showing it, but the new AMC down the street is.
Unfortunately, December 18th happens to be their grand opening,
and advance purchase of tickets is not available.

I'd stand in line, but we'll be getting back from the Counting Crows concert
at the Warfield, and we may not be in any condition to stand in line.

Ah well... whatever happens happens. They have two shows at 12:01 am
and shows starting every hour on the hour after that so hopefully
it won't be too stressful.

I'm flying back to Manila on the 18th, so no chance to see it. My only hope is that it'll be showing there too. But since it's a big movie that people are really waiting for, I guess it'll be showing then! :) :) :) Harry Potter *did* show earlier in Manila than in the US.

However, one really sucky thing is that the Manila Film Festival starts on the 25th, so no foreign films will be shown for at least a week, I think. Bloody hell.

I wanna wanna wanna watch The Two Towers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I'm actually hoping to catch it in Manila, because movies there are so much cheaper. It's highway robbery here! There, I can watch it for $1.00.

Ah well.

Luneta? I worked in Manila for three years, and I never once saw Luneta! I never really went there, for anything. He he he.

BTW, I couldnt' find Ticky Boo! Drove around the street twice, and no sign of it at all. :-(
